We’re happy to share the launch of our Seventh Law School Scholarship Essay Contest on the importance of whistleblowers.

We encourage current and prospective law school students to enter by writing an essay addressing one or more of the prompts below:

Essay Prompts and Requirements

Submit an essay between 250 and 750 words that addresses any of the following topics:

• A whistleblower who has inspired you.
• A personal whistleblower event, where you or someone you know witnessed wrongdoing and what you/they did (or did not do) in response, and what you would have done differently (if anything).
• How technology or AI is reshaping whistleblowing.
• A whistleblower-related topic of your choosing.

For inspiration and to learn more about what it takes to win, we encourage you to peruse previous award-winning essays from our fifth and sixth scholarship contests. Since the inception of our essay contest series, we have given away over $20,000 in law school scholarship funding.

Tips From Our Team

• Personal essays resonate most with us.
• Submissions must be original and written by you.
• No plagiarism or AI-generated material.
• No resubmitting or recycling previous work.

Who Can Enter

Participants must be enrolled (or accepted for admission) in an accredited U.S. law school.

What You Can Win 

• First Place: $1,000.
• Second Place: $500.
• Third Place: $400.
• Fourth Place: $300.
• Fifth Place: $250.

Winning essays also will be posted on our Whistleblower Insider blog, shared on our social media accounts, and included in our weekly newsletter.

Application Deadline

You must submit your essay by October 29, 2026.

How to Submit

Email your essay to [email protected].

Write “WB SCHOLARSHIP ESSAY” in the subject line

In the body of the email, please include the following:

• First and Last Name
• Phone Number
• Name of Law School
• Graduation Year

Include a copy of your resume and a brief bio.

When Winners Will Be Selected

Your essays will be reviewed by the Constantine LLP Whistleblower Team and winners will be announced by January 15, 2027.
